2. The do’s and don’ts when choosing board members

3. Overview of how to Solicit, screen and train volunteers

4. Understanding of the various levels of donors and how to maximize donation receipt

5. How to establish a writing plan and the steps in writing a grant proposal

6. How to identify and petition partners for collaboration efforts

A little about your instructor.....

Educating the community has always been a focus for Veronique "Mrs. V" Link. She has over 15 years of combined experience in the education arena as an Accounting Operations Trainer with HTR, Inc and Marriott Hotels, a Dale Carnegie Assistant Instructor, Diversity Trainer and Courseware Developer for IBM and Empowerment Coach for Strategies Empowerment Group. She is also certified in Non-Profit Management and is a Certified Train the Trainer for Youth Program Development utilizing OJJDP Best Practices.

Mrs. V continues to keep the community as her top priority. She started a company, Strategies Empowerment Group, which is dedicated to empowering the community through education in wealth building, goal development and entrepreneurship. Her seminars are vibrant and humorous while remaining thought provoking and insightful!

Along with Strategies Empowerment Group, Mrs. V is also co-owner of a cleaning service business, has published 2 books and several information reports, and has a new venture coming in the Fall, 2011.  

A STRONG advocate of utilizing multiple streams of income to promote wealth, Mrs. V expands her vision beyond the norm, thinking “outside the box”. She is an author and her workbook, "Get It Together Lady! Goals Not Resolutions: A Guide to Achieving The Impossible" takes a humorous yet realistic approach to the challenges women face with setting and achieving both personal and professional goals.
